The AL Vortex honeycomb is specifically designed to maximise the performance of vortex filters. Its honeycomb-like structure extends the water path, thereby improving the sedimentation of dirt particles. This leads to more effective separation of dirt at the bottom of the filter.
Thanks to its low weight, the AL-Vortex honeycomb is easy to handle and clean, significantly reducing maintenance effort. With an impressive biological filter surface area of 150 m²/m³, it also provides optimal conditions for the colonisation of micro-organisms that support biological filtration.
