TRIPOND BACTERIA STARTER – Fast activation and support of filter and water bacteria
TRIPOND Bacteria Starter promotes the rapid colonisation and growth of beneficial bacterial cultures in the pond. This improves filter performance and ensures a stable biological balance. The bacteria starter is particularly effective in breaking down organic cloudiness and reducing nitrite and nitrate levels. Inorganic compounds are also reliably broken down.
Additionally, TRIPOND bacteria starter helps to reduce disruptive foam on the water surface, further optimising water quality.
Running-in periodFor every 1,000 l of pond water, use 100 ml of bacterial starter for inoculation. We recommend regular monthly re-dosing with 50 ml on
1 litre Pond water. In case of shock load (new stocking, increase in stocking density), daily addition of 100 ml per 1.000 l recommended until no ammonium, ammonia, and nitrite are detectable.
