Reliable pond technology for trade and landscaping.
Assortment, Solutions & Support for successful projects.
After the heavy rainfall, a quick water check is worthwhile: rainwater can dilute pond water and thus weaken the pH buffering capacity.
Our tip:
Measure the pH and KH values and specifically re-dose if the carbonate hardness is too low. This keeps the pH value more stable and your fish are better protected.
For regular checks, we recommend the NT Labs test kits.
If the carbonate hardness is too low, TRIPOND TeichStabil can help to stabilise the water values again.
Have you already measured the pH and KH after the rain?

In 1966, the Japanese Yoshida family @Ryuichi Yoshida invented the world's first floating koi food, thereby changing how koi pond owners feed and observe their fish.
The same family is behind JPD today: premium koi food, which Japan's top breeders trust with their champions. Five lines for every pond situation.

Why are multi-chamber filters still installed even though there is already more modern technology available?
Quite simply: Because the ponds function perfectly.
The biology sits deep in the Japanese mats – stable, buffering, tolerant of peak loads. No electronics to fail, no flushing pump kicking in at night. Winter-proof. Cleans at its own pace.
The TRIPOND Centre Vortex: GRP, Vortex + Brush Chamber + 3 Biological Chambers. Proven for decades. 🔧

Green water or string algae in the pond?
That is perfectly normal for this time of year and easily manageable. The key: first stabilise the water parameters, then tackle the algae specifically, and finally bind the nutrients that algae feed on.
Which type of algae do you currently have in the pond? Write it in the comments 👇
